Welcome to December’s AK Cookbook Club! I’m so glad you’re here. A few reminders:
On the first Wednesday of each month I’ll announce a new cookbook recipe from my cookbook that we’ll all get to make during the month. No recipes are off-limits, so get ready to cook and bake every month with me for an entire year! Think of it as a fun little challenge you can do with family & friends, or solo (because you’re ambitious like that!)
This month we’re making my famous Brown Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies! Even though December’s recipe can be found on the blog, you’ll need a copy of The Ambitious Kitchen Cookbook to participate in future Cookbook Clubs. Remember to get your copy HERE — it makes the perfect holiday gift, too!
*We’re also hosting another fun, FREE LIVE baking class on Thursday, 12/12 at 6PM CST, where I’ll be demo-ing the Brown Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies! Sign up for the AK Cookbook Club in order to get all of the links to join the baking class in your inbox.
Here’s how to join the AK Cookbook Club:
STEP 1: Sign up for the AK Cookbook Club below to get links to our LIVE baking class, and all future Cookbook Club updates.
STEP 2: You’ll need a copy of The Ambitious Kitchen Cookbook in order to make future Cookbook Club recipes. Grab your copy HERE if you don’t already have it!
STEP 3: Make the AK Cookbook Club recipe anytime during the month, then share a photo or video of your creations on Instagram (in-feed or stories), in our Facebook Group, and/or email the photo to abra@ambitiouskitchen with the hashtag #AKCookbookClub for a chance to win these gorgeous baking pans perfect for holiday baking!
December’s recipe: Change Your Life Brown Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies
Everyone turn to page 246 of my cookbook and get ready to make the BEST chocolate chip cookies on the planet. I first made them almost 10 years ago, and they continue to be one of the most popular recipes I’ve EVER shared! These cookies:
- Are made with nutty, toasty, brown butter for a rich, caramel-like flavor
- Use mostly dark brown sugar to give them a soft, chewy middle
- Have a tiny bit of Greek yogurt to keep them moist and give them those perfect crinkly tops
- Can even be made gluten-free (!!) thanks to King Arthur’s gluten-free measure for measure flour!
I can’t wait to cook and bake our way through The Ambitious Kitchen Cookbook together! Remember to get your copy of the cookbook HERE and sign up below to join the club.
