So strange! Did you use the spoon-and-level method to measure the flour (or did you weigh the flour)?

I don’t know what I did that might have caused the dough to be tough! It was an easy dough to work with and I had no problems with the rolls rising like they were supposed to. But after they were baked and frosted, we tried them and they were so tough, not what we like in a homemade cinnamon roll!

Hmm I’m not sure how the pumpkin puree will affect the moisture in the rolls! Let me know if you try it 🙂

These sound absolutely wonderful! My favourite thing to bake is cinnamon rolls so I’m excited to try these.
I was wondering, would it work if I added some pumpkin puree inside the rolls? To add more of a pumpkin flavour?
Thanks!

if you can figure out the measurements, you can use xanthan gum and gf flour! xanthan gum takes the place of gluten while being gluten-free

Hmm I haven’t tested it so I’m not 100% sure how it will change the dough consistency!

So strange! If they were dry it sounds like there was too much flour. Did you use the spoon-and-level method for measuring the flour? And did you make sure to spread room temp butter onto the rolls (not melted butter)?

Sorry to hear that! Feel free to try these with all-purpose flour if you’d like.

I didn’t trust it at first and was second guessing it but then trusted the process. In my opinion they are way too bready and not fluffy enough!

Not sure what we might have done wrong since we followed the instructions to a t. Any suggestions or theories on what happened?
