After I finished the novel before I finally got to the recipe, the cinnamon buns were very good. When I made the second batch two weeks later, I used more butter and and mixed in three TBS of icing sugar in with the brown sugar. This gave the filling a juicier filling.

Followed recipe exactly and even tried chilling another batch in freezer to firm up, regardless of what I did they ended up soupy and resembled a stepped on dog shit rather than anything remotely close to a cookie

Have you tried gingerbread cinnamon rolls? There’s a LOT of variety in them. I always use your cinnamon roll recipe as my base when changing flavors and am not sure where to begin with this!

Love this dish! I’d like to prep and freeze this in advance for an event in a few weeks. Think it would be ok to prep through the overnight sitting in the fridge part, and then freeze it before baking? Then thaw and bake as written when the day comes? Thanks!
